Bomberleo (Leonie Klooster) started performing as a one woman band and singer songwriter in the summer of 2009. Inspired by blues, new wave and punk, blue grass, gospel, rap, spoken word and folk, she developed her own unique warm/honest/raw sound. Bomberleo joined De Grote Prijs van Nederland in 2013 and released her first full album One for Sorrow in 2014. Other releases are One Chick Uh Boom Band (EP, 2010), The consequences of our Nature (single, 2019). This year bomberleo collaborated with rapper Kiddo Cee on the track Blume from his EP In de Duivel’s hand. The EP More than he will ever know is expected to be released in October 2021.
Bomberleo can be booked for live shows as a singer songwriter (vocals and guitar), one woman band (drums, guitar, kazoo, vocals) or with a band. Contact Leonie Klooster
